Elyssa's 4th Birthday Parties
Elyssa's birthday was so much fun! We had the family party on her birthday, and then her friend party on Saturday. She was so excited because she got a new camera, a princess bike, and LOTS of other stuff. She had lots of fun making flip flops with her friends at Crapo Park.

Bug Camp
Elyssa and her friend Claire went to "Bug Camp" this week at Starr's Cave. They went for 2 hours at a time, and they were pretty pooped after being there. They got to go on nature hikes, go inside the cave, play games, make crafts, and learn all kinds of new information!
Making Ice Cream
We had so much fun last weekend! We helped Mom make homemade ice cream for Grandma Miller's 90th birthday! Elyssa loved adding the ice cream salt, and Alec added ice piece by piece. It turned out so good. Grandma's party was on Tuesday night. She was very surprised, because she thought that her family wasn't planning anything.

Playing out in the Sun
The kids LOVE being outside. We've been working hard on planting flowers. Both kiddos have found out how much they like playing with the hose. I have a feeling that this will be my summer!
Going to the Dentist
This week Jody and I had the joy of taking both of our darlings to the dentist. It was Elyssa's 2nd time, and Alec's first time. Actually, of the hour and a half that we spent there, they were pretty good. Elyssa sat there just like a big girl. She was so proud. Alec had a slightly nervous breakdown when they told him that he had to lean back in the chair. Overall, the best part was the sunglasses and stickers. Jody and I were exhausted by the time we were done!

Rebecca's Wedding
This is so fun! Julie has introduced me to the life of "blogging". She said it's just like an online journal/scrapbook! I'm hoping that I can remember all of the "little" cute things by typing them in here. Here are some pictures of Becca's wedding on June 7th. Elyssa was the flower girl, and Alec, Brayden, and Tyler were all ringbearers. It was so cute, because they DID make it down the aisle. An hour before, Alec had run into the corner of a pew and had a HUGE lump on his head. He also scratched up the side of his face. He looked cute walking down the aisle with his shirt hanging out, green slobber all over his shirt (from m&m's from Grandma), and scrapes on his cheeks. He was a sight, but very cute! Elyssa said she was the princess! She kept getting confused about who was getting married. She thought it was all of us . . . ! It was a gorgeous day, but very, very, hot. As I was adding pictures, I realized that Alec turned away from me in EVERY picture. Hopefully the real wedding photos have some of him facing the camera!
